On November 16, 2016, Roxanne Kipnes turned two decades of industry experience into a bold new venture: Mindful Printing & Promotions. With roots in Spruce Grove, AB, Roxanne envisioned a business that would do more than print logos—it would become a strategic partner for branding success.
Her journey began long before Mindful Printing & Promotions. Back in 1997, Roxanne founded Midnight Oil Enterprises in Nisku, where she mastered sourcing everything from print products and office supplies to safety apparel and promotional merchandise. In the late ’90s, she operated a PVC plastic card and ID business, producing accreditation badges for organizations like the CFL and loyalty cards for businesses such as The Liquor Depot. These experiences laid the foundation for her expertise in sourcing and her entrepreneurial spirit.
When Roxanne launched Mindful Printing & Promotions, she made a deliberate choice: work from a home office. This strategic move keeps overhead low, allowing her to pass savings directly to clients—because, as Roxanne says, “Thou Shalt Not Pay Retail!” Her commitment to value is unwavering; she secures the best possible discounts and then adds an extra $25PROMO off the bottom line.

But Roxanne’s story isn’t just about business, it is about relationships and community. She joined the Acheson Business Association because she believes in its collaborative mindset and actively collaborates with local companies like GS Construction, OCTS, and even ABA itself. Her greatest reward? The loyalty of returning clients and the genuine friendships she has built along the way.
Beyond business, Roxanne lives by the principle of “giving what was freely given.” She has volunteered for over 12 years with a national non-profit, at her daughters’ schools and in the community, often sponsoring and providing wholesale pricing for fundraising events. Her dedication to mentorship and helping others reflects her deep commitment to the community.
